    CREDAI NCR Maps Sustainable Growth Path at its Annual General Meeting

    Delhi 7 July 2026: The CREDAI NCR AGM held on 3rd July 2026 at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, led by President, Vishal Gupta and Secretary, Nikhil Hawelia, with senior office-bearers, Governing Council members, committee chairs, developers, and representatives from CREDAI Western UP, Haryana, Delhi, Bhiwadi-Neemrana and Ghaziabad in attendance. The meeting reviewed last year’s achievements, discussed sector challenges, and set a forward-looking strategy for policy advocacy, sustainable development, skill-building, regulatory reform, and ease of doing business.

    Highlights included expert sessions: Ms. Aarna Gupta, a 12th Class Vasant Valley School student shared her work on worker safety, occupational health and environmental sustainability, and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, an FCA on Joint Development Agreements, covering Taxation, RERA, valuation, stamp duty and commercial structuring.

    The General Body also reviewed the progress of its flagship initiatives undertaken by CREDAI NCR during the year. The ongoing IIT Delhi Air Pollution & Construction Research Project was discussed at large, expected to provide scientific and evidence-based recommendations for sustainable construction practices and pollution mitigation. The CREDAI Maatrivan plantation initiative, committee activities, skill development program, youth initiatives and various zonal initiatives across NCR were also discussed.

    Members debated NCR real estate challenges—pollution control and GRAP limits, RERA rollout, legal/tax issues, IBC matters, approvals, and region-specific hurdles for the region. CREDAI NCR resolved to engage with central and state authorities for practical, balanced solutions.

    A detailed discussion was held on CREDAI National’s Five-Point Agenda for Viksit Bharat, focusing on large-scale skill development, data-driven decision-making, environmental sustainability through reforestation, redefining affordable housing and improving the ease of doing business.

    Shri Vishal Gupta President CREDAI NCR said ” the real estate sector is a major contributor to India’s economy and employment generation. He reaffirmed CREDAI NCR’s commitment to responsible development, environmental sustainability, adoption of technology, worker welfare and constructive engagement with Governments for creating a transparent, efficient and growth-oriented regulatory ecosystem.”

    Nikhil Hawelia Secretary CREDAI NCR said “At CREDAI NCR, our commitment extends beyond representing the interests of our members. We are dedicated to providing policy inputs, promoting knowledge sharing, and working collaboratively with the Government and all stakeholders to strengthen the real estate sector. Due to yearly construction ban, we are witnessing low interest of migrant workers towards NCR, hence, the organization focus is not only towards environmental reforms & awareness but also to a win-win eco-system for our workers.”

    The Annual General Meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all members to work collectively towards strengthening the real estate industry, promoting sustainable urban development, improving ease of doing business and contributing meaningfully to the vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047.
