ActionCOACH Brings Global Business Coaching to North-East India with Landmark Launch in Guwahati

    • First global business coaching brand to enter the region, promising to accelerate MSME and startup growth under India’s Act East vision

Guwahati, September 2025: ActionCOACH, the world’s leading business coaching firm operating in 110 countries, has officially launched its North-East India operations in Guwahati, marking a significant milestone for the region’s entrepreneurial landscape. The grand launch event, held at Arista by Ambition hotel, was spearheaded by Mr. Lairenjam Niranjan Singh, CEO & Head Coach of ActionCOACH North-East India, and Mr. Shobhit Yadav, Country Manager for ActionCOACH India & Middle East. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sriparna Baruah, a well-known startup and entrepreneurship mentor, as Guest of Honour.

The arrival of ActionCOACH in Guwahati represents the first-ever entry of a global business coaching brand into Assam & North-East India; a region now being positioned as India’s gateway to trade and investment under the Act East Policy. With its dynamic young workforce of over 60 million people and a rapidly evolving startup ecosystem, the Northeast is increasingly seen as one of the country’s most promising business frontiers.

According to the Ministry of MSME’s Annual Report (2023–24), India has more than 6.3 crore MSMEs, with an estimated 15 to 18 lakh enterprises located across the North-East. In Assam alone, nearly 7 lakh MSMEs provide employment to over 30 lakh people, making the sector a cornerstone of the region’s economy. Yet, like much of the country, over 80 percent of these businesses face challenges such as poor cash flow management, lack of structured systems, and difficulties in talent retention, often resulting in high failure rates within the first five years.

By introducing its globally proven coaching frameworks to the region, ActionCOACH seeks to bridge these gaps and equip entrepreneurs with the tools needed to scale sustainably. Its structured methodologies—such as the “6 Steps to Business Mastery” and “5 Ways to Profit Growth”—are designed to strengthen cash flows, build system-driven operations, and drive sales and marketing efficiencies, while also improving team engagement.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Lairenjam Niranjan Singh, CEO & Head Coach of ActionCOACH North-East India, said: “Launching ActionCOACH in Guwahati is not just about coaching businesses; it is about igniting an entrepreneurial movement across the Northeast. From Manipur to Meghalaya, from Mizoram to Arunachal, our mission is to help business owners build enterprises that thrive independently, creating sustainable profits, strong teams, and opportunities that uplift the entire region.”

Globally, the business coaching industry is already generating $4.564 billion annually, with projections to reach $7.21 billion by 2025 (ICF Global Coaching Study, 2023). Since its founding in 1993 by entrepreneur Brad Sugars, ActionCOACH has grown into a network of over 1,000 franchise partners worldwide, transforming tens of thousands of businesses through its innovative frameworks for profitability, leadership, and sustainable growth.

With its North-East India launch, ActionCOACH not only reinforces its global mission of “World Abundance Through Business Re-Education” but also offers timely support to the region’s businesses and startups at a moment when the Northeast is emerging as a critical hub for trade, commerce, and innovation in India’s growth story.

Acharya Manish Ji Launches Pet-Yakrit-Pleeha Shuddhi Kit at HIIMS Hospital, Meerut; Showcases Ayurveda’s Power to Reverse Chronic Illness

At a press conference at HIIMS Hospital, Meerut, the largest Ayurveda hospital in Asia, Acharya Manish Ji, a renowned Ayurveda and Naturopathy expert, unveiled India’s first Pet-Yakrit-Pleeha Shuddhi Kit, following its launch in Lucknow. The initiative marks another milestone in his mission to integrate Ayurveda into modern preventive and restorative healthcare.

Acharya Manish Ji’s contribution to Indian healthcare spans more than 20 years. Through his national ventures, Jeena Sikho Lifecare Ltd., Shuddhi Clinics, and HIIMS Hospitals (Meerut, Chandigarh, Navi Mumbai, Lucknow, Panchkula, and Kurukshetra), he has consistently championed root-cause healing over symptomatic relief, through the principles of Ayurveda. With a focus on detoxification, lifestyle correction, and organ cleansing, today, this network serves millions across 125+ hospitals and clinics, supported by more than 900 medical experts.

The Pet-Yakrit-Pleeha Shuddhi Kit has been developed after years of research and clinical validation by Jeena Sikho Lifecare Ltd., a publicly listed company and one of India’s fastest-growing integrative health enterprises. With a model that combines traditional wellness wisdom and modern preventive healthcare, Jeena Sikho has built a strong ecosystem from product formulation and hospital-based clinical testing to practitioner consultations and post-purchase support.

Designed to support the gut (pet), liver (yakrit), and spleen (pleeha), the kit brings together herbs such as Kutki, Kalmegh, Haritaki, Giloy, Amla, and Bhumiamla, all known for their hepatoprotective, digestive, and immunomodulatory benefits. It is approved by the Ministry of AYUSH and validated within the HIIMS clinical network. It is beneficial not only for patients suffering from chronic illnesses but also for healthy individuals seeking long-term wellness.

The Pet-Yakrit-Pleeha Shuddhi Kit will soon be launched across other key cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Kanpur, Agra, Saharanpur, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Varanasi, Jhansi, and Bareilly, with HIIMS Kanpur and Prayagraj serving as the main hospitals.

Speaking at the launch, Acharya Manish Ji said, “Ayurveda teaches us that healing must begin at the source. When the body’s channels are cleansed and strengthened, disease begins to retreat. Ayurvedic detoxification, therefore, is not just an optional therapy; it is the first clinical step toward healing. Its regular addition in daily life keeps us healthy and resilient, preventing illness before it occurs. We saw this during Covid, when Ayurveda played a vital role in boosting immunity and was officially recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH. The Pet-Yakrit-Pleeha Shuddhi Kit brings the same philosophy into preventive care, intended not only for patients managing health concerns but also as a regimen for long-term wellness.”

Several patients suffering from severe health conditions have found relief under Acharya Manish Ji’s guidance. Many have avoided major surgeries, regained better health, and embraced lifestyle changes through Ayurveda.

One patient shared his experience, saying, I was told dialysis was my only option. But after Ayurvedic treatment at HIIMS, my condition improved, and dialysis was no longer required. Ayurveda strengthens the body’s immunity naturally and restores health without invasive procedures.”

The kit is now available across India via www.store.jeenasikho.com, as well as Amazon, Flipkart, Tata 1mg, and leading pharmacies nationwide.

  • Golden Elixir: How Honey-Based Khaada Can Shield You This Monsoon

Golden Elixir: How Honey-Based Khaada Can Shield You This Monsoon

The monsoon brings with it the joy of rain-soaked evenings, steaming pakoras, and fragrant cups of chai. But it also carries the risk of seasonal flu, cough, cold, and weakened immunity. For generations, Indian households have relied on the humble khaada—a herbal decoction made with spices and herbs—to boost resilience and ward off infections. This season, a touch of Hamdard Honey in your khaada not only enhances its healing properties but also balances the strong flavors with natural sweetness, making it a comforting choice for rainy days.

    Why Honey in Khaada?

Honey is a natural alternative to refined sugar, crafted with purity and quality in mind. With every spoonful, it offers wellness benefits while lending a gentle sweetness. And Hamdard Honey is rich in antioxidants and antibacterial properties, it helps soothe sore throats, supports digestion, and strengthens immunity—making it a thoughtful addition to traditional recipes like khaada.

    Recipe:

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups water
    • 1 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
    • 4–5 tulsi (holy basil) leaves
    • 1 small stick of cinnamon
    • 2–3 cloves
    • ½ tsp turmeric powder
    • Juice of half a lemon (optional)
    • 2 tsp Hamdard Honey (add once the drink is warm, not boiling)

    Method:

    1. In a pan, bring water to a boil.
    2. Add ginger, pepper, tulsi leaves, cinnamon, cloves, and turmeric.
    3. Let it simmer on low flame for 8–10 minutes until the water reduces to half.
    4. Strain into a cup.
    5. Allow it to cool slightly, then stir in Hamdard Honey.
    6. Add lemon juice if desired and enjoy it warm.

    The Wellness Factor

This honey-based khaada is a gentle immunity booster that helps manage common monsoon concerns like sore throats, colds, and congestion. Simple to prepare, it blends everyday kitchen ingredients with the goodness of honey to create a soothing drink that supports wellness during the rainy season.

Bertelsmann India Investments Badminton Championship Spotlights Health and Community

New Delhi, September 01, 2025: Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) hosted its seventh annual Bertelsmann Badminton Championship at the DDA – SBS, New Delhi — its first time in the capital city. Notable founders such as Pranit Arora (Univest), Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra (Orange Health Labs), and Priyadarshi Mohapatra (CureBay) also joined.

The tournament offered more than competition: it became a “zero-pitch” networking platform, encouraging camaraderie and community in India’s fast-paced startup ecosystem.

“Rally for Health” – A Theme Beyond the Court

This year’s theme, Rally for Health, emphasized the well-being of founders and investors in an industry often plagued by stress, burnout, and health issues. The initiative urged leaders to prioritize fitness, balance, and recovery alongside business growth.

said Pankaj Makkar, Managing Director, BII.

    Voices from the Ecosystem

Now, after nearly a decade-long fight initiated by actress and cancer survivor Rozlyn Khan aka Rehana Khan, the Bar Council of India has suspended Siddiqui’s license to practice law for two years on grounds of professional misconduct. The case, originally pending in Maharashtra, was transferred to the national body for final adjudication.

Reacting to the verdict, Rozlyn Khan said, “This relief came after years of harassment, stigma, and pressure from powerful lobbies. I was branded ‘controversial’ simply for demanding justice. Instead of addressing the crime, the system tried to assassinate my character. This judgment is not just my victory it exposes deep-rooted injustice in Maharashtra and gives voice to every woman silenced by power and manipulation.”

  • Actress Raniya Raanaa: How ‘Prince And Family’ Actress Gained Weight for Her Role

Actress Raniya Raanaa: How ‘Prince And Family’ Actress Gained Weight for Her Role

New Delhi: A new face has captured the attention of Malayalam cinema audiences. Actress Raniya Raanaa, who made her silver screen debut in actor Dileep’s family entertainer Prince And Family, is receiving widespread praise for her performance. Directed by Binto Stephen, the film released in theatres on May 9 and has been welcomed warmly by both critics and moviegoers.

While Dileep’s presence was the main draw for audiences initially, it is debutante Raniya Raanaa who has emerged as the surprise package of the film. Her performance as Chinju Rani, the social media-savvy wife of Dileep’s character, has sparked discussions online and won her admiration from industry insiders.

    A Character With Grey Shades

In Prince And Family, Raniya Raanaa plays Chinju Rani, a social media creator whose obsession with trends takes a toll on her personal life. The role explores how the pressures of online validation can distort relationships and self-perception.

Unlike the typical glamorous debut roles offered to newcomers, Chinju Rani was layered and challenging. The character begins as a carefree woman deeply invested in the digital world but gradually evolves into someone who regrets the consequences of her choices. Raniya’s ability to convincingly portray this transformation has struck a chord with viewers.

Film critics have noted that her nuanced performance was bold for a first-timer. The willingness to embrace a character with grey shades instead of a conventional “heroine role” has also positioned her as a promising talent to watch in Malayalam cinema.

    The Journey Behind the Role

Behind the success of Raniya’s debut lies a story of dedication and transformation. A trained classical dancer and a member of the International Dance Council, UNESCO CID Paris, Raniya has always been immersed in the world of performing arts. She has trained in various disciplines, including dance, violin, veena, and singing, which shaped her artistic foundation long before she faced the camera.

To prepare for Prince And Family, Raniya underwent a dramatic physical change. She reportedly gained 62 kilograms to convincingly portray the fuller look the role demanded. Known for her strict physical discipline as a dancer—often training two to five hours a day—Raniya had to put aside her routines after being confirmed for the role in late March 2024.

“I completely stopped physical workouts until the final schedule wrapped in November 2024,” she shared in an interview. Writer Sharis Mohammed, associated with the project, had even advised her to “soften” her naturally sharp features to better fit the character. This transformation highlighted Raniya’s commitment to authenticity, a quality not often expected of a debut actress.

    Family Support and Artistic Roots

Raniya credits her family for nurturing her artistic ambitions from an early age. Speaking to EVT Bharat, she said: “There was never any difficulty from my parents in letting me walk this path of art.” The youngest of three sisters, she grew up in an environment where creativity and self-expression were encouraged.

Her background in classical dance and music not only disciplined her physically but also instilled in her the resilience needed to pursue acting. Friends and mentors recall that she was never afraid to take risks, a trait that seems to have guided her into Malayalam cinema.

    How Raniya Landed the Role

The story of how Raniya Raanaa bagged her debut role is as interesting as her performance itself. When an audition call was announced for Prince And Family, Raniya decided to give it a try without much expectation.

“I wasn’t afraid because I was used to getting opportunities and losing them,” she explained. “I went to the audition completely relaxed. I had nothing to lose. That attitude, maybe, is what brought me luck.”

Her calmness worked in her favor, and she was chosen to play Chinju Rani. For Raniya, the moment felt destined. “When I was selected, it felt like destiny. I realised something: if we truly desire something with all our heart, the universe will make sure we receive it,” she added.

A Promising Debut in Malayalam Cinema

With Prince And Family, Raniya Raanaa has successfully announced her arrival in the Malayalam film industry. Her performance has been described as refreshingly natural, emotionally layered, and mature for a newcomer. Fans have taken to social media to applaud her chemistry with Dileep and her convincing portrayal of a modern woman grappling with the pitfalls of digital culture.

Industry insiders believe that her combination of artistic background, physical dedication, and risk-taking attitude could set her apart from her contemporaries. The fact that she embraced a character-driven role instead of relying solely on glamour has already earned her credibility as a serious actress.

As audiences and filmmakers continue to take note of her talent, Raniya Raanaa’s career appears to be on an exciting upward trajectory. For now, the young actress seems content with the appreciation she has received, while fans eagerly await news of her next project.
