Long-Term Investment: 5 Stocks to Buy & Hold Beyond Diwali 2025

With Diwali just around the corner, SS WealthStreet has unveiled its Diwali Picks 2025, spotlighting five promising stocks across key sectors — each demonstrating strong technical structure and sound fundamentals. Curated by Sugandha Sachdeva, Founder of SS WealthStreet and SEBI-registered Research Analyst, this year’s festive picks include Cochin Shipyard, Technocraft Industries, HG Infra Engineering, Jubilant Ingrevia, and NTPC Green Energy.

These companies embody the core growth engines of India’s economy — infrastructure, manufacturing, chemicals, and renewable energy — making them well-positioned to capture long-term structural opportunities.

🪔 Top 5 Diwali Stocks for Samvat 2082

    1. Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL)

    Recommendation: Buy | Range: ₹1,750–1,770 | Target: ₹2,450 | Stop Loss: ₹1,500

India’s largest and most modern shipbuilding and repair facility, Cochin Shipyard boasts a robust order book featuring aircraft carriers, warships, and submarine support vessels.
The stock has seen consistent support near ₹1,590–1,600, and a decisive breakout above ₹2,000 could spark a rally towards ₹2,400–₹2,550. The successful delivery of INS Vikrant has cemented its status as a key defence PSU.

Risks: Project execution delays, cost overruns, and raw material price volatility.

    2. Technocraft Industries (India) Ltd.

    Recommendation: Buy | Range: ₹2,250–2,300 | Target: ₹3,150–₹3,500 | Stop Loss: ₹1,800

A diversified global conglomerate, Technocraft operates across drum closures, scaffolding systems, textiles, and engineering services. The stock trades near its 20-day EMA and remains firmly above its 50- and 100-day EMAs, signaling bullish momentum.
A breakout above ₹2,150 has formed a strong technical base, with sustained trading above ₹1,920 likely propelling the stock to ₹3,150–₹3,500.

Risks: Exposure to global trade uncertainties, forex fluctuations, and raw material price swings in steel and cotton.

    3. HG Infra Engineering Ltd.

    Recommendation: Buy | Range: ₹920–930 | Target: ₹1,250 | Stop Loss: ₹770

This Jaipur-based infrastructure leader specializes in road, highway, and metro EPC projects, while steadily expanding into renewable energy. The stock finds solid support around ₹916 and its 50 EMA near ₹923, suggesting room for further upside.
With the government’s continued capex push, HG Infra is well-placed to ride the infrastructure wave.

Risks: High leverage, working capital constraints, and delays in hybrid annuity project payments.

    4. Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd.

    Recommendation: Buy | Range: ₹675–680 | Target: ₹810–₹900 | Stop Loss: ₹587

Part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group, Jubilant Ingrevia operates in specialty chemicals, nutrition, and life sciences. Its leadership in Pyridine, Picolines, and Vitamin B3 production strengthens its global presence.
Trading above key moving averages, the stock’s RSI (55.6) indicates further room for gains. Sustaining above ₹820 could open an upside towards ₹900.

Risks: Volatility in commodity prices and cyclical demand from pharma and agrochemical sectors.

    5. NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL)

    Recommendation: Buy | Range: ₹97–100 | Target: ₹130 | Stop Loss: ₹82

A subsidiary of NTPC, NGEL leads India’s clean energy mission with an ambitious goal of 60 GW renewable capacity by FY2032. Its recently commissioned 12.5 MW solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat, underscores its growth momentum.
Technical indicators show base formation near ₹97–100, with RSI pointing upwards — suggesting potential for a medium-term move toward ₹130.

Risks: High debt, execution delays, and competitive bidding pressures in solar and wind projects.

    💡 Analyst’s Take: Riding India’s Growth Themes

According to Sugandha Sachdeva, these festive stock picks align with the long-term macro trends powering India’s growth — including infrastructure expansion, renewable energy transition, and the manufacturing renaissance. Together, they represent a strategic blend of stability and growth potential for investors this Samvat 2082.

Qualys ETM Expands with Agentic AI: Identity Security, TruLens, and Exploit Validation

New Capabilities Include Identity Security, Industry-Specific Threat Prioritization, and Exploit Validation

Mumbai, October 17, 2025 – Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a global leader in cloud-based IT, security, and compliance solutions, has announced significant enhancements to its Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) platform. The expanded capabilities leverage a built-in Agentic AI Fabric to strengthen proactive risk management by predicting and preventing emerging cyber threats.

Unveiled at the Qualys Risk Operations Conference (ROCon) in Houston, the update fortifies identity security for both human and non-human entities, enhances predictive threat analysis, and enables safe exploit validation—helping organizations assess and mitigate risks before a breach occurs.

Proactive Defense in the Era of Agentic AI

With AI accelerating the complexity and volume of attacks, enterprises now face an influx of autonomous and non-human identities to manage. Many security teams struggle to prioritize and respond effectively amid these evolving threats.

Qualys ETM meets this challenge by integrating Identity Risk Posture Management, contextual threat intelligence, and exposure exploitability validation within a unified Risk Operation Center (ROC) framework—enabling measurable and provable risk reduction at scale.

“Enterprises today need advanced solutions to address the growing risks from AI-driven threats and sophisticated adversaries,” said Tyler Shields, Principal Analyst at Omdia. “Qualys’ latest enhancements deliver greater precision and efficiency, expanding visibility to non-human and AI-driven identities and providing predictive, industry-specific risk insights.”

Unified Risk Language for Clarity and Control

The new ETM capabilities serve as force multipliers within the ROC, uniting teams under a single TruRisk™ framework. This unified approach ensures that organizations can identify, prioritize, and mitigate their most critical risks with transparency and precision.

    • ETM Identity: Uncovers and reduces identity-based risks.

    • TruLens: Prioritizes threats using live, industry-specific intelligence.

    • TruConfirm: Validates exploitability for real-world risk verification.

These features move security beyond detection—enabling guided remediation and closed-loop response to provably reduce cyber risk.

    ETM Identity: Redefining Identity Security

ETM Identity offers unified visibility and remediation across IAM systems—from Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID to cloud-based IdPs and IDaaS platforms. It correlates identity and asset risk into a single Identity TruRisk™ score, empowering teams to focus on exploitable attack paths and automate remediation.

By targeting lateral movement and securing high-risk service and machine identities, ETM Identity strengthens organizational resilience against identity-related breaches.

“Identity risk is one of the most exploited and least visible threats today,” said Corey Amsler, Director of Risk Management at GE Vernova. “Security teams need unified insight that aligns identity and asset risk to act decisively. No effective exposure management strategy is complete without it.”

    TruLens: Real-Time, Industry-Specific Threat Intelligence

TruLens empowers organizations with tailored, real-time intelligence for faster detection, prioritization, and remediation of cyber risks. By applying live threat context and business impact analysis, it dynamically re-ranks vulnerabilities—including CISA KEV entries—so teams address what truly matters first.

Accessible via a mobile app, TruLens delivers industry-specific insights that unify threat, asset, and business data—helping leaders make smarter, data-driven decisions across departments.

    TruConfirm: Validating Real-World Exploitability

TruConfirm extends Qualys ETM’s value by confirming whether exposures are actively exploitable. Through safe, controlled execution of real-world attack simulations, TruConfirm provides actionable proof of risk and pinpoints control failures before adversaries can exploit them.

Once exploitability is verified, ETM automates patching and mitigation workflows, updates the TruRisk™ score, and confirms remediation success. When paired with TruLens, TruConfirm ensures that remediation efforts deliver measurable, real-world risk reduction.

    Leadership Insight

“Agentic AI is transforming cybersecurity and redefining risk management,” said Sumedh Thakar, President and CEO of Qualys. “With expanded verification across identities and exploit validation, Qualys ETM empowers organizations to measure, communicate, and eliminate cyber risk with clarity and precision—driving real, verifiable risk reduction at every level.”

  • Kailash Hospitals Prepares for Seasonal Surge in Respiratory and Cardiac Cases as Delhi-NCR Air Quality Reaches ‘Poor’ Category

Kailash Hospitals Prepares for Seasonal Surge in Respiratory and Cardiac Cases as Delhi-NCR Air Quality Reaches ‘Poor’ Category

The hospital network is on high alert as particulate pollution rises, with the AQI ranging from 115 to 211 ahead of Diwali festivities.

New Delhi, 16th October 2025: As Delhi-NCR’s air quality has reached the “Poor” category ahead of Diwali, Kailash Hospitals has ramped up its readiness to manage a potential surge in respiratory and cardiac emergencies. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi-NCR’s Air Quality Index (AQI) ranged from 115 on October 8 to 189 on October 13, before rising further to 211 on October 14 and 213 on October 15, entering the “Poor” category (which begins at 201). This upward trend in pollution is influenced by seasonal and local factors, including traffic emissions, and meteorological conditions such as lower wind speeds and temperatures. In the coming days, due to firecrackers bursting on Diwali, pollution is further expected to increase.

Experts at Kailash Hospitals caution that even moderate levels of air pollution can exacerbate conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and heart disease, particularly among vulnerable populations.

Dr. Sudhir Kr. Gupta, Sr. Consultant (Chest Physician & Bronchoscopist), Kailash Hospital, Noida said, “Even at moderate levels, air pollution places a measurable strain on the lungs and cardiovascular system. Patients with asthma, COPD, and heart disease often experience worsening symptoms even with short-term exposure. Fine particulate matter can also subtly affect the general population by triggering inflammation, reducing lung function, and increasing the risk of asthma, COPD and bronchitis attacks. Our focus is not only on treatment but also on proactive guidance, advising vulnerable individuals, preparing our facilities, and emphasizing preventive measures to mitigate the health impact of this seasonal rise in pollution.”

In response to rising pollution, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) activated Stage-I restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across Delhi-NCR as of October 14, 2025. Alongside these measures, Kailash Hospitals has mobilized additional medical staff and resources across its facilities in Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi to manage the anticipated surge in patients.

The hospital network is also proactively engaging with the community to raise awareness about the health risks associated with poor air quality and to promote preventive measures. Residents are advised to monitor air quality updates and limit outdoor activities during periods of high pollution. Anyone experiencing symptoms such as persistent cough, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort should seek medical attention promptly and follow prescribed medication regimens.

  • Seerat Kapoor: “The True Essence of Diwali is Carrying That Light Within You”

Seerat Kapoor: “The True Essence of Diwali is Carrying That Light Within You”

“The True Spirit of Diwali Lies in the Light Within You and Sharing It With One Another,” Says Seerat Kapoor

For actress Seerat Kapoor, Diwali has always been more than just a festival of lights — it’s a celebration of love, gratitude, and inner peace. Though her career often takes her far from home, she continues to embrace the warmth and meaning of the festival wherever she is.

“There have been many times when work has kept me away from home during Diwali,” Seerat shares. “But I’ve learned to recreate that spirit wherever I am. Even on set, I make it a point to light diyas, share sweets with the crew, and connect with my family virtually for a small puja. The real essence of Diwali is carrying that light within you and sharing it with the people around you.”

Recalling Her Childhood: “In All That Laughter and Joy, There’s Always a Small Voyage of Missing My Father”

Reminiscing about her childhood celebrations, Seerat’s face lights up with nostalgia.

“As a child, Diwali was pure magic,” she recalls fondly. “I remember helping my mother decorate the house with diyas and rangoli, waiting excitedly to wear new clothes, and running around with my cousins. The aroma of sweets filled every corner and laughter echoed through the house.”

Yet amid the joy, there’s a tender ache that remains.

“In all that laughter and joy, there is always a small voyage of missing my father. His absence is deeply felt, especially during moments like these. But I believe he’s always with us in spirit, blessing us and sharing our joy from wherever he is. Those memories never fade — they only settle deeper into the heart.”

Keeping Traditions Alive, Even Miles Away From Home

Over the years, Seerat’s busy shooting schedules have often meant celebrating Diwali away from her family. But she’s found her own ways to keep the traditions alive.

“Even when I’m away, I celebrate by lighting diyas, offering prayers, and sharing sweets with my film crew. There’s something incredibly grounding about those simple acts — they connect you to home and to the deeper meaning of the festival.”

Diwali as a Moment of Reflection and Renewal

For Seerat, Diwali isn’t just about festivities — it’s also a time for introspection.

“It’s a time to cleanse, to start anew, and to fill your heart with positivity,” she says. “The true spirit of Diwali lies in that light we share with one another. Whether I’m with my family or my film family, I try to keep that essence alive — because light radiates from within.”

A Celebration Beyond Lights and Sweets

As Seerat prepares to celebrate this year’s Diwali surrounded by loved ones, her reflections serve as a gentle reminder that the festival’s true glow comes from togetherness, remembrance, and gratitude.

Her words beautifully capture what Diwali stands for — not just the triumph of light over darkness, but the warmth of love that keeps that light alive in our hearts.

    On the Work Front

Seerat Kapoor is gearing up for her much-awaited Pan-Indian film Jatasya Maranam Dhruvam, set to release by the end of this year.
