NEW DELHI, October 2026: Dr. Manmit Kumarr, India’s First Lady Tantra Guru and Founder of Academy of Tantra, conducted the KAAL Workshop on 11 October 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST. Held online via ZOOM, the workshop brought together approx 60 participants to explore the ancient Indian understanding of Kaal through the forms of Mahakaal (Shiva) and Mahakaali (Maa Kali), focusing on time, transformation, death and rebirth.
The workshop combined philosophical discussions with experiential practices to examine how people understood time and responded to change. It explored beginnings, transitions, endings and renewal as interconnected aspects of life, drawing on the spiritual symbolism associated with Mahakaal and Mahakaali.
Participants were invited to reflect on everyday experiences, including career transitions, changing relationships, ageing and new chapters in life. The programme examined how perceptions of time could influence personal choices, awareness and responses to uncertainty.
Speaking about the workshop, Dr. Manmit Kumarr said, “We fear change because we forget Kaal. When we understand that time is not only passing but transforming us, endings can become gateways to a deeper awareness of life.”
The sessions also explored impermanence and the fear of endings, encouraging participants to consider renewal within cycles of change. Through guided exploration, the workshop aimed to help participants engage with these spiritual concepts beyond intellectual discussion and relate them to their everyday lives.
The programme created space for reflection on how a changing perspective on Kaal could influence the way individuals experienced transformation. It encouraged participants to consider change as an ongoing part of human experience.
The initiative formed part of Dr. Kumarr’s work to bring ancient Indian spiritual wisdom into conversation with contemporary experiences and challenges.
