    At the grand trailer launch of Kantara: Chapter 1 in Bangalore, actress Rukmini Vasanth shared an emotional reflection on her role as Queen Kanakavathi. She described the film as more than just another project—calling it a transformative journey that helped her grow both professionally and personally.

    Expressing her heartfelt thanks to producer Vijay Kiragandur and Hombale Films for giving her the opportunity to collaborate with them once again, Rukmini spoke warmly about her experience. She credited director Rishab Shetty for trusting and guiding her throughout the process:

    “During the journey of making this film, I have grown not just as an actress but also as a human being. This film has changed me on a cellular level… all because of the trust and encouragement shown by Rishab Sir.”

    She also acknowledged stylist Pragathi Shetty for her constant support and praised the DOP and the entire technical team for making the experience unforgettable.

    Recalling Shetty’s encouraging words at the premiere of Saptha Sagaradaachaello Side A, Rukmini said those moments gave her the confidence to push her craft further. Watching scenes during dubbing, she noted, made her realize just how much she had grown through this film.
