    Among these voices was Dr. Charu Dutt Arora, Consultant Physician in Geriatrics, Palliative Care, and Infectious Diseases at AmeriHealth, Asian Hospital, whose talk, “Healing Belongs at Home”, struck a deep emotional chord. Drawing from years of medical practice, Dr. Arora highlighted how care at home preserves dignity, strengthens emotional bonds, and often leads to better outcomes – especially for the elderly and those with chronic illnesses. He urged for a shift in healthcare systems towards more compassionate, patient-centric models, underlining that medicine is as much about empathy as it is about science.

    The event also reflected the heart of TEDx Greenfield’s broader mission – a social development initiative that has adopted nearly 500 underprivileged children for education, distributed essential items to underserved communities, and consistently worked to create opportunities where they are needed most. Ms. Behl’s vision has positioned TEDx Greenfield not just as a platform for ideas worth spreading, but as a movement for tangible change on the ground.

    As the audience rose in applause, Dr. Arora’s message was clear: “Healing doesn’t always begin in a hospital – sometimes, it begins in the comfort of home, surrounded by love.” His words, and the day’s collective energy, left no doubt that change begins when compassion meets action.

    New Delhi, June 26, 2025 — In a groundbreaking stride toward inclusivity, Almawakening Foundation successfully hosted India’s first Differently Abled Awareness Walk at the prestigious India Fashion Runway 2025 (IFR) in collaboration with MS Talks Events, held at Le Meridien, New Delhi.

    This historic event marked a moment of transformation, not just celebration — placing differently abled individuals on center stage, walking with confidence, grace, and power alongside celebrated designers, influencers, and changemakers from the worlds of fashion, healthcare, education, and media.

    This evening embodies the spirit of Yin and Yang — strength in balance, beauty in unity, and power in representation,” said Alma Chopra, Founder of Almawakening Foundation, in her opening address. “At Almawakening, diversity is not a buzzword — it’s our heartbeat.     The event was choreographed by supermodel Salik Zargar, styled by renowned designer Kingshuk Bhaduri (Kamakhya), and creatively directed by Pooja Dhanker. It was executed with the support of The Rising Wizards and the dedicated team at Almawakening Foundation.
