The Bhakti Tribe Returns to Mumbai with a Spectacular Bhajan Clubbing Experience on June 6

India’s Unique Multilingual Devotional Music Ensemble Set to Perform at B.N. Vaidya Hall, Dadar

Mumbai, June 2026: The Bhakti Tribe, India’s pioneering pan-India multilingual Bhajan Clubbing ensemble, is all set to return to Mumbai with an electrifying live performance on June 6, 2026, at Pracharya B.N. Vaidya Hall (IES Auditorium), Dadar East, beginning at 7:00 PM. Presented by Dr. Narayan Raman and Namo Bhajan Club, the concert promises a unique fusion of traditional devotional music, live EDM, and contemporary stage production.

Following the success of its debut performance earlier this year, which attracted over 500 attendees across generations, the ensemble is bringing back its immersive devotional concert experience that blends spirituality with high-energy live music.

A Musical Journey Where Tradition Meets Innovation

The Bhakti Tribe has gained recognition for redefining devotional music through its signature Bhajan Clubbing format. The ensemble seamlessly combines centuries-old bhajans with modern musical elements such as electronic dance music, rock, fusion, and live digital production.

One of the group’s most remarkable features is its ability to execute real-time live tempo escalations during performances. As devotional melodies gradually accelerate, the entire 11-member ensemble synchronizes flawlessly with live EDM loops, creating an exhilarating musical experience for audiences.

Speaking about the technical complexity behind the performances, founder Dr. Narayan Raman said:

“People often ask how we achieve live tempo increases without breaking rhythm. It required months of rehearsals to ensure every musician could accelerate together seamlessly. When it happens on stage, audiences feel the energy before they even realize what’s changed.”

Bhajan Clubbing Emerges as a Cultural Movement

What began as intimate devotional gatherings in Mumbai around 2021 has evolved into one of India’s fastest-growing live entertainment trends. Bhajan Clubbing events now attract thousands of attendees across major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Visakhapatnam.

The movement has also received national attention. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has referenced the phenomenon on Mann Ki Baat, while several university campuses and cultural festivals have embraced the format as a modern expression of spiritual engagement among younger audiences.

Industry reports indicate growing demand for spiritually rooted entertainment experiences, particularly among Gen Z and millennial audiences seeking meaningful alternatives to conventional nightlife.

The Bhakti Tribe: Built for Excellence

Unlike conventional musical groups, The Bhakti Tribe was carefully curated by Dr. Narayan Raman to meet the artistic and technical demands of a world-class Bhajan Clubbing experience.

    The ensemble features:

    • Dr. Narayan Raman – Violin and Vocals
    • Vidya Harishankar, Anirudh Iyer, K.C. Loy and Charmi Satra – Vocals
    • George Joseph – Keyboards and Ableton Programming
    • Abhishek Shah – Guitar and Vocals
    • Kshitij Saxena – Flute
    • Lavesh Sawardekar – Handsonic
    • Bhushan Phatak – Dholak
    • Suryakant Surve – Manjira and Percussion

The collective is a social and spiritual initiative of Namo Music Academy and was co-founded by Rachana Narayan Kapasi.

What Sets The Bhakti Tribe Apart

    Pan-India Multilingual Repertoire

The Bhakti Tribe is among the few devotional music ensembles in India performing bhajans across multiple languages including Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi, and Tamil, while also possessing the capability to incorporate Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi devotional traditions.

    Live EDM Integration

Unlike many performances that rely on pre-recorded electronic tracks, The Bhakti Tribe performs with live-triggered EDM loops using Ableton technology, enabling real-time interaction between electronic and acoustic elements.

    Signature Live Tempo Escalation

A defining aspect of the concert is the group’s ability to gradually increase the tempo of live devotional music without interruption, creating an emotional and energetic build-up rarely seen in devotional performance formats.

    Spiritual Opening Ritual

The group’s debut performance opened with traditional Vedic chanting by scholars, creating an authentic devotional atmosphere before transitioning into the contemporary Bhajan Clubbing experience.

For the June 6 concert, organizers have hinted at a surprise segment that they claim has never before been attempted on a Bhajan Clubbing stage in India.
